I chose Quito as the holiday destination for my family after hearing glowing recommendations from a coworker. The same colleague had insisted we request Edgar, the same chauffeur that had been with him during his trip the previous year, to be our guide. To our delight, the concierge at our travel agency confirmed he was available for our trip, and as soon as he picked us up at the airport, I understood why he had such high recommendations.

Over the next four days, Edgar drove us around and shared interesting details about the city and its history, keeping the kids entertained and engaged throughout. When he mentioned that Quito is the closest major city to the equator, the kids lit up with excitement, recalling their recent school geography project. They begged me to visit the “Mitad del Mundo” monument, and to their delight, at my request, Edgar quickly adjusted the itinerary to make it happen.
Driving to “Mitad del Mundo” could have been a challenge without Edgar’s expertise, but he got us there with ease. Watching our children marvel at standing on the equatorial line and exploring the interactive museum was a highlight of our holidays. Edgar’s natural talent for making every moment educational, yet fun, made the experience unforgettable for the kids.
By the time Edgar drove us to the airport, we understood why our coworker had spoken so highly of him. He didn’t just show us the sights—he introduced us to Ecuadorian culture in a pleasant and unique way.

“Traveling with families means creating memories for everyone. I ensure each trip is engaging, safe, and tailored to their unique interests.”
