I work as a high-specialist in airport logistics, and last autumn I traveled with other three colleagues from Houston to Bogotá for a week-long project at El Dorado Airport, inspecting and optimizing the luggage conveyor belt system. Given the complexity of our work, we needed efficient insights into local operations and, quite unexpectedly, our chauffeur Juan Diego turned out to be the perfect guide for our stay.

Juan Diego drove us each day between the airport and our hotel in the city. But beyond being a skilled driver, his understanding of Bogotá’s traffic and El Dorado’s passenger flow was invaluable. He offered unique insights into the airport’s logistics, helping us understand the bigger picture of how the facility operates. His assistance gave us a fresh perspective on our work.
Moreover, during our spare time in the afternoons, Juan Diego became our unofficial tour guide. He suggested cultural and culinary spots that allowed us to experience Bogotá beyond the confines of our project. Thus, we managed to sample excellent local restaurants as well as visit key landmarks of the city. Our a priori monotonous work trip turned out into quite an enriching experience.
By the end of the week, Juan Diego’s professionalism, insights, and hospitality had made all the difference, and we couldn’t thank him enough for his dedication.

“My goal is to offer seamless transportation while helping my clients connect with Bogotá’s unique culture an d opportunities.”
