Upon a weary return from a trip to Hong Kong, I found myself hastily bound for another business trip to Miami, jet-lagged and longing for rest. Yet, Malik’s poised presence at Miami International Airport instilled a sense of relief. Dressed impeccably, he attended to my light luggage with practised ease, while he led the way to his electric Mercedes EQS.
Malik must have noticed I was feeling tired because he offered soothing music for our ride, to which I gratefully agreed. The soft melodies eased the strain of travel as we journeyed through the city’s streets towards downtown Miami. His driving ways were pleasant, and I found myself nearly drifting to sleep.
Upon arrival at the Four Seasons, Malik entrusted my belongings to the bellboy. He politely inquired about my morning plans, and when I told him where I needed to be by 10:00 am, he said that even though it was a 10-minute ride from my hotel, he would be waiting for me at the lobby by 9:30h in case I preferred an early start.
The following morning, I felt completely refreshed and recovered from my flight. As promised, Malik was waiting downstairs, at even an earlier time than that he had committed to. He drove me to the CBD, and after a successful business meeting, I couldn’t help but think about his attentive care the previous evening.
Back at the airport, I bid farewell to Florida, and I expressed my gratitude to Malik for his exceptional assistance. Regretting my visit had been so brief, I departed for Europe with the hope I would have the chance to be back to Miami sooner than later.
