I was invited to attend the inauguration of a retail shop showcasing luxury brands at The Artist Grand Hotel. My jet departed from Madrid, and I requested my PA to have a private chauffeur ready for me when I landed in Bilbao. I expected impeccable service—and that’s precisely what I received from Rachid. The vehicle’s temperature was perfect, the music soothing and unobtrusive, and his polished manner were the right ones. I appreciated his discretion, speaking only when spoken to, and his immaculate grooming was exactly the level of service I require when traveling.

He drove me to the event, where the different brands were showcased. The intimate reception featured delicious appetizers, including tuna and anchovy mousse, prawn cocktail and blue cheese and pear canapés, together with a Laurent Perrier Alexandra Rosé 2004 champagne. During the reception, I fell in love with a pearl necklace and an intricately designed gold-embroidered bracelet, which I purchased on the spot. Overall, the experience was elegant and exclusive.

Rachid then drove me to the airport just as efficiently as on the way there. I was able to relax inside the vehicle, enjoying a comfortable ride back. My stay in the city was short, but I felt very well looked after by Rachid.
