Arriving at JFK with my wife Mallory and our children Oliver and Luna we were greeted by Alexander, whose warm smile instantly made us feel at home in New York City. Holding a sign with our family name, he ushered the four of us to his impressive Cadillac Escalade, where he had thoughtfully prepared a booster seat for little Luna. As a delightful surprise, he presented her with a small keychain featuring a teddy bear declaring “I love NY,” a thoughtful gesture that charmed us all.
With Oliver feeling a bit nervous about his new adventure at Léman Manhattan Preparatory School, my wife and I knew the importance of making his transition as smooth as possible. Once Oliver was settled at his lodging house at 37 Wall Street, we headed to the nearby Milennium Hilton Downtown. Alexander ensured our comfort every step of the way.
Meanwhile, unbeknownst to my family, I had arranged a special surprise with Alexander’s assistance—a trip to Broadway to see The Lion King. As we arrived at the theatre, he facilitated our entrance, providing tickets that filled Oliver with joy and excitement. Throughout the show, our chauffeur remained nearby, ready to whisk us away to dinner at The Lambs, where a table awaited our family.
As the day concluded, Oliver’s worries had melted away, replaced by excitement for the adventures awaiting him in New York. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect start to my son’s American journey. Having Alexander as my trusted ally made all the difference, ensuring our family’s spirits were lifted and our memories of New York were forever cherished.
“Guiding families through the vibrant streets of New York is a privilege. Each journey is an opportunity to create lasting memories and share in the excitement of new adventures.”
