Having worked as an expat in New York for three years, I was determined to ensure that the visit of our esteemed Japanese delegation was flawless. Entrusting their guidance to a reliable chauffeur, we were fortunate to have Ronald as our guide for the day.
Ronald greeted me at my residence in Queens, and together we made our way to JFK to await the arrival of our guests. Over a cup of delicious coffee, he shared that he hailed from Colombia and had nearly two decades of chauffeuring experience. Despite his relaxed demeanour, Ronald remained vigilant, ensuring every detail was meticulously attended to as we awaited the VIP delegation.
Upon the arrival of our Japanese guests, I immediately welcomed them, confident in Ronald’s capable hands to navigate our journey into the city. As we embarked on our adventure, I was relieved to witness Ronald effortlessly handle every aspect of our ride, allowing me to focus on engaging conversation with our guests.
Skilfully manoeuvring through the boroughs and into Manhattan, Ronald expertly guided us to the Plaza Hotel by Central Park for a brief check-in. Our guests were eager to explore the vibrant city immediately. With reassurance from Ronald, we embarked once more in his impeccable Cadillac Escalade, embarking on a scenic route through lower Manhattan.
Passing iconic landmarks such as the Empire State Building and the Flatiron Building, Ronald ensured our guests experienced the awe-inspiring beauty of the city. The highlight came as we traversed the Brooklyn Bridge with Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York” playing in the background, eliciting gasps of wonder from our guests.
Ronald treated us to a stunning view of the Manhattan skyline from the Promenade before safely delivering us back to the hotel. His exceptional service not only provided our Japanese guests with an unforgettable experience but also ensured a perfect day for me.
“Creating unforgettable experiences for my passengers is my passion. Every journey is an opportunity to showcase the beauty and vibrancy of New York City, leaving lasting memories for all.”
